Well, I went to the doctor today to have my knees checked out and after, several x-rays and some painful knee squeezing, I am happy to say that there’s nothing broken, crushed or ripped. Basically I have two bruised knees which can be expected when someone as heavy as I am goes crashing down concrete the way I did.
Doc says it’s going to take 6 – 8 weeks to totally heal, but I should be good as new then. In the mean time, I can only do low intensity exercises. I can swim, do the eliptical trainer, and stationary bike on low settings. So, as long as I take it easy, I can still keep up with my workouts.
